Heavy fists are bound to fly when the Heavyweight's take center stage this Sunday (May 8, 2016) at UFC Fight Night 87 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Aside from an intriguing headlining scrap between Alistair Overeem and Andrei Arlovski, the event will also feature a 265-pound contest between Stefan Struve and Antonio Silva, two of the biggest fighters in all of mixed martial arts (MMA).
And when they get to swinging, someone is bound to go down, and that certain someone is going to be "Bigfoot," according to Struve. In fact, as he declared on the premier episode of "On The Fly," Silva won't make it past round one if he and his fists have anything to say about it.
His words (via Bloody Elbow):
"I've been in the UFC for seven, eight years now, but I'm only 28. People haven't seen the best yet, the best is yet to come. This is the biggest reason why I lost my last fight, I was just holding back too much, doubting too much. But if I just go in there, let everything come out, don't think too much, he's going down in the first."
Struve was last seen coming up short against Jared Rosholt at UFC 193 on Nov. 15, 2015, the same night Silva had his bell rung by Mark Hunt in the opening frame (full fight recap here).
Both men need a win in the biggest way, but who do you pick to ultimately prove the victor?
