Bangfest!
Another big time Heavyweight matchup has been added to the upcoming UFC 203 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which is set to go down on Sept. 10, 2016 in Cleveland, Ohio, as former division champion Fabricio Werdum will look to get back on the winning track when he faces Ben Rothwell in the co-main event of the evening.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) announced the booking during the UFC Fight Night 88 Fox Sports 1 telecast.
Werdum lost his title to Stipe Miocic via devastating first-round knockout a few weeks ago at UFC 198 in Curitiba, Brazil (see it again here).
The loss marked the first for "Vai Cavalo" in over four years.
As for Rothwell, he also looks to get back in the win column after getting outclassed in his previous outing by Junior dos Santos. The loss was a crucial one for "Big Ben," as it derailed his title hopes for the moment.
A win over Werdum, though, will go a long way in pushing him back up the ladder.
UFC 203 will feature a heavyweight title fight, as division champion Stipe Miocic will look to defend his title for the first time in front of his hometown crowd against Alistair Overeem.
