Doppelganger ALERT: Former UFC champ Jon Jones disproves fan's tweet that he was at Legoland

Nothing like a little light news to close out the night, especially after some hardos weighed in yesterday (Sat., May 28, 2016) for UFC Fight Night 88.

While the mixed martial arts (MMA) world was focused on Wanderlei Silva's ongoing beef with Chael Sonnen, Conor McGregor's chances against Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Nate Diaz giving financial advice to Donald Cerrone, former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones had a cyber run in with his ultimate doppelganger.

A UFC fan pinpointed a guy that looked eerily similar to Jones at first glance walking around at Legoland and posted his investigative work to Twitter:

While this seems like a pedestrian topic, it's actually fairly important. With a big title rematch opposite current UFC Light Heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier scheduled for UFC 200 on July 9, Jones would be a fool to take a vacation less than six weeks away from fight night. As a fighter who has notoriously skipped out on training leading up to a big fight, it's good to see "Bones" isn't irresponsible enough to play with blocks over hitting pads.

In classic form, Jones responded with three words explaining why that couldn't possibly be him:

Remember, this isn't the first time someone else was mistaken for Jones, so it's good to see Jones having some fun with this one.

While this other guy does sport a superior black beard, he's way too muscular and disproportionate to be the greatest pound-for-pound fighter in the sport today.
