Pic: UFC's Nate Diaz receives legislative award in recognition of community service

Courtesy of Instagram:

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight (and part-time welterweight) Nate Diaz, who got teased for teaching jiu-jitsu classes on Sundays, recently received a legislative award from California Assemblyman Jim Cooper in recognition of his contribution to the community.

No balloon animals were recovered at the scene.

Diaz recently met with promotion president Dana White to discuss a potential Conor McGregor rematch, but negotiations ended on a sour note. That said, Diaz indicated that discussions will move forward and he's likely to return to the Octagon by year's end.

Perhaps here.
