So much has gone into the potential showdown between Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight titleholder Conor McGregor and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr.
UFC president Dana White has requested a call from Mayweather, McGregor has gone out of his way to spar with former boxing champions, and Floyd Mayweather Sr. has even confirmed that the potential boxing fight is definitely not a rumor.
Well, the fire just got a little hotter after Mayweather offered McGregor $50 million to fight, per a recent report by TMZ Sports.
Wow. That's way more than the $10 million McGregor is expected to make for his impending rematch with Nate Diaz. But of course, this is all just speculation until the ink is put to paper.
With recent news surfacing that White and UFC may be having trouble locking down Diaz for a McGregor reboot, the talks regarding a potential superfight between the Irishman and Mayweather will only heat up.
