Ronda who?

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Miesha Tate is one of "The 50 Most Dominant Athletes Alive" (No. 50), according to a new list compiled by the gang at Business Insider (see it here).

What does it take to make the cut?

"Superiority over their respective sports" which leads "to unparalleled success." In addition, the list honors "recognizable athletes who have reigned supreme in their sports over long periods of time and aren't going anywhere," as well as "athletes who are on the rise, up-and-comers quickly proving that they are and will be forces to be reckoned with in years to come."

Then it should come as no surprise to learn that featherweight kingpin Conor McGregor -- despite his submission loss to Nate Diaz -- shares the list at No. 46.

Neither Tate nor McGregor have defended their respective titles (yet), but "Cupcake" will be the first when she collides with Amanda Nunes at UFC 200 in July (more on that here). "Notorious," meanwhile, is expected to return to the Octagon later this year.
