Remember when Luke Rockhold easily dispatched middleweight nemesis Michael Bisping at the UFC Fight Night 55 mixed martial arts (MMA) event back in late 2014?
So do the oddsmakers.
That's why Rockhold, who is the reigning UFC middleweight champion, opened as a massive -1050 favorite, according to MMAOddsBreaker.com, with his British foe limping in at +600 for their UFC 199 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, set for June 4, 2016 inside The Forum in Los Angeles (fight card here).
Those betting lines mark the highest of their respective careers.
I'm sure it doesn't help that Bisping, despite his impressive three-fight winning streak, is taking this five-rounder on just a couple of weeks notice thanks to a late injury from Chris Weidman. In addition "The Count" has just one finish over the last five years.
Rockhold, meanwhile, has captured five straight -- all finishes -- including last December's drubbing of the aforementioned Weidman.
So ... anyone gonna get crazy and lay some timber on the underdog?
