Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey blew a gasket when she heard that strawweight sensation Paige VanZant congratulated Holly Holm, not long after "The Preacher's Daughter" finished "Rowdy" in the UFC 193 main event.
See those comments here.
"Sometimes people are sensitive when they lose fights," mixed martial arts (MMA) veteran Randy Couture told TMZ. "You shouldn't take that sort of thing personal. If you lose, then you congratulate the guy who just beat you, so why would it be an issue? That's the way we roll in MMA."
Couture even gave props to "The Dragon" after his tooth went for a Canadian ride.
VanZant has been tearing up the dance floor in recent weeks and is expected to return the Octagon later this year. Rousey, meanwhile, has no timetable for her next fight and may not be seen until 2017, based on recent comments from UFC President Dana White.
Blame the grieving process.
