By now, most folks in the mixed martial arts (MMA) community know that Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the world's largest combat sports promotion, is being targeted by a handful of financial superpowers and the transfer ownership could happen as early as this summer.

But like most of the things "morons" and "idiots" write on the internet, it's usually bunk. Well, that's according to UFC President Dana White, who recently told the Las Vegas press that his promotion is not for sale and the report from ESPN is completely inaccurate.

Whether or not UFC does change hands, at least on the corporate level, it's likely to remain business as usual for the foreseeable future. Speaking of which, we have a major pay-per-view (PPV) fight card this weekend in Brazil, followed by one in June and of course, the UFC 200 mega-event in July.
