Bellator 154 fight card finalized with Awad vs 'Cyborg' Santos, Piccolotti vs Wood

Bellator MMA

Bellator 154: "Davis vs. King Mo" will take place this Saturday night (May 14, 2016) inside SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., featuring a Spike TV-televised main event between Light Heavyweight standouts "Mr. Wonderful" Phil Davis and "King Mo" Muhammed Lawal. The winner of the 205-pound clash will determine who fights Liam McGeary for the division title later this year.

The tragic death of Jordan Parsons and withdrawal of Josh Thomson because of an injury suffered during training forced Bellator MMA to scramble for late additions to the card. Late last week the promotion announced Sergei Kharitonov would debut for the company, putting his 23-5 record on the against Josh Appelt (12-5).

Two more fights were also recently announced, completing the main card line up. Veteran Lightweight fighter Saad Awad (18-7) will move up to Welterweight on short notice to face Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos (21-16), who is fresh off an upset win over "Irish" Brennan Ward a little less than one month ago.

Parsons' former opponent, Adam Piccolotti (7-0), will still compete at Lightweight against Ray Wood (6-1) in only his second Bellator fight. Wood, a.k.a. "All Business," lived up to his name with a spinning back fist knockout at Bellator 151.
