Pic: X-Ray of Ovince Saint Preux's broken arm from UFC 197

MMA Fighting

Not only did Ovince Saint Preux have to try to defeat the most dangerous light heavyweight mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter on the planet in Jon Jones, he also had to do it -- for roughly three rounds -- with a broken arm.

That's according to his coach, Joey Zonar, who told MMA Fighting the jury was still out in regards to surgery. "OSP" went all five rounds with "Bones" in the UFC 197 pay-per-view (PPV) main event last Sat. night (April 23, 2016) inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Cause for celebration?

"'OSP's' stock went up tonight," UFC President Dana White said after the fight. "He did very well against someone many people believe is one of the best ever. ‘OSP' has a broken arm. He suffered it sometime around the fourth round."

A recover timetable has not been established.
