Middleweight boxing champion Gennady Golovkin was his usual destructive self last night (Sat., April 23, 2016), casually obliterating previously-unbeaten Dominic Wade in just two rounds inside The Forum in Inglewood, California.
There isn't really much more to say -- Golovkin (35-0, 32 KO) absolutely bulldozed Wade (18-1, 12 KO), who had zero answer for the Kazakh bruiser's otherworldly power. "GGG" wound up dropping him three times in less than six combined minutes to score his 22nd consecutive knockout.
ESPN has the World Championship Boxing highlights (above) as does HBO Boxing (below), which illustrates the brevity and sheer one-sidedness of the fight.

Should "Canelo" Alvarez dispatch Amir Khan as expected, he ought to be next in line for Golovkin provided they can iron out their disagreements about weight. If Golovkin can do this to him, it would be hard to argue his place among the all-time greats.
