PDF: Police report for Diego Brandao reveals new details in UFC fighter's recent arrest

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight Diego Brandao, who captured season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) combat sports reality show, was expected to make headlines in the 145-pound division.

I'm pretty sure this isn't what he had in mind.

Not long after "DB" popped for marijuana in the wake of UFC 195, the Brazilian standout was arrested in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for allegedly getting drunk and whipping out a gun after a nightclub bouncer told him to beat feet.

Read our original report here.

Now, the police report in said incident has been obtained by MMA Junkie and reveals additional details from the night of April 14, which led to charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Have a look:

Brandao was released on $15,000 bond.

In a recent statement (read it), UFC said it was "concerned" by the allegations but would take no action until more information became available.

Stay tuned.
