In a fight that was supposed to favor the more technical approach of Court McGee, Argentina native and TUF alum Santiago Ponzinibbio absolutely stifled the veteran in the early going tonight (Sat., April 16, 2016) at UFC on FOX 19.
With heavy hands and precise movement, Ponzinibbio blitzed "The Crusher" and ended McGee via first-round knockout. It is Ponzinibbio's 13th career win by way of knockout and the fist time McGee has ever been finished.

At just 29 years of age, it seems like Ponzinibbio is starting to put it all together, with the biggest win of his career coming tonight at UFC on FOX 19. As for McGee, this is certainly going to force him to go back to the drawing board and fix any holes in his standup that weren't necessarily present before this fight.
