Anderson Silva will not rematch Vitor Belfort because 'The Phenom' already sniffed his smelly foot

If Anderson Silva defeats Uriah Hall at the UFC 198 pay-per-view (PPV) extravaganza next month in Brazil, he's right back in the 185-pound title hunt. Perhaps the same can be said for Vitor Belfort if "The Phenom" overcomes Ronaldo Souza at the same event.

But would they first have to fight each other?

"That's too much for my 41-year-old heart," Silva told the media during Wednesday's UFC 198 press conference (via Sherdog). "Let me stay quiet here. You guys want me to fight for the belt and fight Vitor ... He already experienced the bad smell of my foot, so forget about it."

Silva stopped Belfort with a first-round kick to the face -- followed by punches -- in the UFC 126 main event.

A rematch at this stage of their respective careers would do more for Belfort than it would for Silva, though I'm not sure the stars will align for that kind of middleweight do-over to become a reality.

Unless you, the fan, demand it?
