Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) just added a "Super" lightweight bout to its upcoming UFC 200 pay-per-view (PPV) fight card, as Sage Northcutt battles Enrique Marin on Sat., July 9, 2016 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
GQ brought word of the pending showdown earlier today.
Northcutt (7-1) watched his hype train fly off the tracks after a recent trip to welterweight left him submitted in the second round (a lot of that going around these days). Now back in the 155-pound weight class, "Super" looks to prove he's worth the extra coin.
Standing in his way is Martin (8-3), who dropped a split decision his last time out. "Wasabi" captured six straight -- with five finishes -- on the international circuit before debuting with the world's largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion last November.
UFC 200 will feature the welterweight rematch pitting Nate Diaz against Conor McGregor. In the featherweight co-main event, Frankie Edgar and Jose Aldo will run it back for an interim title, as well as the chance to fight "Notorious" later this year.
