Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will send Fabricio Werdum into the UFC 198 pay-per-view (PPV) main event inside Arena da Baixada stadium in Curitiba, Brazil, on May 14, 2016, to defend his heavyweight title against surging 265-pound bruiser Stipe Miocic.
That's not all.
Former champions Vitor Belfort and Ronaldo Souza bang it out in the middleweight co-headliner with the victor (possibly) moving on to face the winner of Luke Rockhold vs. Chris Weidman, who rematch for the 185-pound crown at UFC 199 in June.
Keep in mind this stacked event also features Anderson Silva and Cris Cyborg.
The promotion trotted both main and co-main event competitors in front of the mixed martial arts (MMA) media on Tuesday, which I'm sure most of you missed or ignored in the wake of this news, but no worries, there's a live UFC 198 press conference coming later this afternoon.
