Keep your sympathy, Leslie Smith 'begged' to fight Cris Cyborg at UFC 198

There's tough, then there's Leslie Smith tough.

In case you forgot, this is the same Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight bruiser who kept fighting after her head exploded at UFC 180 (video). Not only that, "The Peacemaker" was legitimately pissed off when the doctor stopped her fight.

Simply put, she's not going to be intimidated by Cris Cyborg.

Smith fights Cyborg at 140-pound catchweight (details).

They'll do the deed at the upcoming UFC 198 pay-per-view (PPV) mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which takes place inside Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Brazil, on Sat., May 14, 2016. Cyborg will make her Octagon debut, while Smith looks to win her second straight after turning away Rin Nakai earlier this month in Brisbane.
