Video: Watch Kevin 'Baby Slice' Ferguson Jr. secure vicious first-round knockout in MMA debut

Following in his father's footsteps, Kevin "Baby Slice" Ferguson Jr. recently secured an 83-second knockout in his mixed martial arts (MMA) debut at Warrior Nation: "XFA XIIon" on March 12, 2016.

It's a small step in the right direction for a 23-year-old amateur with limited experience, but Ferguson Jr. has taken the proper measures to begin his career at an early age, which is something Kimbo Slice never did.

While much is unknown about Ferguson's opponent, Tom Brink, "Baby Slice" wasted no time in showcasing his knockout power by flattening the elder combatant with a blistering right hook along the cage. By the looks of his output, the son can load up on his shots just as well as the father.

The future of Kimbo Jr. has yet to be determined, but he will certainly possess much appeal as he gains steam in his amateur and professional endeavors. And even though his father recently fell on hard times, "Baby Slice" seems to have the tools to carry on the family name.
