Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight contenders Antonio Carlos Junior and Daniel Kelly went toe-to-toe last night (March 19, 2016) at UFC Fight Night 85 inside Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia.
And it was a heck of a scrap.
Kelly found himself in trouble early, as the jiu-jitsu ace Carlos Junior got himself in great position to end the fight in round one.
Kelly though, proved resilient, thwarting the submissions specialists best moves.
After finding a bit more succes in round two, Kelly once again found himself in a predicament, as Junior managed to take his back, yet again, but to no avail.
In round three, Kelly found his mark, connecting on a high kick on his for which eventually earned him top position. From there, Kelly unleashed a barrage of strikes to ultimately force the stoppage.
