UFC Fight Night 85 results: Real-time play-by-play updates for 'Hunt vs Mir' FOX Sports 1 undercard

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) travels "down under" for the first time this year as the leading mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion gets set to host a UFC Fight Night 85 card, featuring a heavyweight main event pitting veteran finishers, Mark Hunt and Frank Mir, against each other.

It all goes down inside Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia, TONIGHT (Sat., March 19, 2016) when "Super Samoan" and the ex-champion Mir duke it out inside the Octagon.

In the co-main event, the volatile Cuban, Hector Lombard, squares off with the ever-improving Neil Magny in a 170-pound contest. Elsewhere on the evening's main card, upstart lightweight talents face off when the Aussie Jake Matthews meets Power MMA's Johnny Case, while former Olympic competitor Dan Kelly collides with ground ace Antonio Carlos Jr. in a middleweight affair.

However, before we can get to the night's main courses, fight fans will be treated to a set of six "Prelims" exchanges, which are set to begin on the Fight Pass digital streaming service at 7 p.m. ET, before transferring over to FOX Sports 1 (FS1) for the final four at 8 p.m. ET.

Below are the results recaps for the four "Prelims" bouts scheduled for FS1:

Brendan O'Reilly vs. Alan Jouban

The Brisbane native O'Reilly came into his tussle with the part-time model Jouban searching for back-to-back victories for the first time in his UFC career.

Jouban attacks the body and they clinch. The American takes the fight over to the fence. Good knee from Jouban. O'Reilly with a brilliant foot sweep. "Brahma" now on his back, but he's up in a hurry. "The Badger" lands a knee in the clinch. Beautiful short elbow from Jouban. Big body shot, coupled with a right hand gets O'Reilly on shaky ground. He's then finished off with knees, and a few more ground shots, to halt the contest early in round one.

Jouban moves to 13-4 (4-2 UFC), while O'Reilly falls to 6-1-1 NC (1-2 UFC).

Result: Jouban via first-round TKO

Dan Hooker vs. Mark Eddiva

Elevation Fight Team's Hooker engaged with the Filipino fighter Eddiva in a featherweight bout.

Hooker switching stances to begin. He's enormous for this division. Eddiva holds onto the leg after a head kick attempt and gets caught in a guillotine choke attempt. The 30-year-old is forced to tap after he moves to full mount.

Hooker moves to 13-6 overall (3-2 UFC), while Eddiva loses his third straight and drops to 6-3.

The American is mixing things up well. Very solid left hand finds the mark for Smith. Good combinations towards the end of the frame by the Cesar Gracie fighter. Nakai shoots and scores on a takedown attempt, which she completes after the bell. 10-9 Smith

Nakai holding her own in the striking department, but it's Smith's fight to lose. Smith peppering her with straight punches. Nakai with an early takedown. The 29-year-old settles into half guard. Smith looking to escape, peeling a leg away. Nakai staying heavy though and prevents her opponent from getting back to her feet near the fence. Smith throws up a triangle choke attempt and is now trying to wall walk. Smith currently in an arm triangle choke attempt now. Smith escapes brilliantly, attacks after she gets back to her feet with an incredible striking display, but it's short lived as Nakai secures a body lock and takedown. Nakai does some decent damage in half guard and takes the round handedly. 19-19 Nakai

Smith pawing with the left hand early. Nakai initiates a takedown, but Smith defends nicely. Good balance. Nice uppercut-left hand combo by Smith. Smith defends another takedown and launches an offensive. She's letting her hands go. Nakai is a tough cookie. The 33-year-old Smith attacks the body. Nakai searches for a takedown with 2:00 to go. Another body shot tags Nakai, who shoots. Nakai scores a pivotal takedown. Nakai in half guard, but she may be able to take Smith's back. Smith stands back up with 30 seconds left. I'll award Smith the round because she landed more and Nakai did next to nothing with the takedown. 29-28 Smith

Smith records her second UFC win and improves to 8-6-1, while Nakai drops her second straight and falls to 16-2-1.

Result: Smith via unanimous decision

The 27-year-old Walsh looking to get back to his feet. Andrade once again aims for the neck of his opponent. He's smart to hold this position, is the 32-year-old. Walsh stands up much to the joy of the crowd. Walsh gets the fight to the ground on a single leg attempt. He's unable to keep him there for long. Andrade shoots and gets an important takedown to even out the final round. Full guard now. Puzzles me why Walsh would want to take it to the ground in this fight, seems like he's been owning the stand-up when it's gone there. Andrade rides out the fight in half guard, raining down punches. 30-27 Andrade

Andrade wins his second straight and improves to 19-6, while Walsh falls to 9-4.
