UFC champ calls Conor McGregor a prostitute who would sell out his own ass

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum is still chirping about reigning featherweight titleholder Conor McGregor, even though "Notorious" faded into the background in the wake of his UFC 196 loss to Nate Diaz.

Their beef started in the aftermath of the UFC 197 presser earlier this year, in which "Notorious" shat on anyone and everyone that dared to speak up. Werdum did not appreciate the way his Brazilian brethren were disrespected and recently told Combate (via Bloody Elbow) why he's still so miffed.

His words:

"Conor started out well, but then he went over the line, he started talking about Jesus. He just looks like a clown. In Brazil, we call them prostitutes, because they do anything for money. He's a sellout. Of course it's important to fight for money, but that guy will sell out for anything. I wouldn't doubt he would sell out his ass. I wouldn't do it."

No sign of his Irish ass on Craigslist just yet (I checked).

It's only a matter of time before the promotion books McGregor for his first title defense, presumably at UFC 200, and it will be interesting to see the Dubliner's demeanor in regards to pre-fight hype. That may depend on who draws the short straw from Joe Silva.
