Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has a pretty big venue to fill for the upcoming UFC 198 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place inside Arena da Baixada stadium in Curitiba, Brazil, on May 14, 2016.

With that in mind, it should come as no surprise to learn that former middleweight champion Anderson Silva has been tapped to join the "Werdum vs. Miocic" line up in a battle of strikers, opposite 185-pound phenom Uriah Hall.

Sherdog.com brought word of the pending showdown on Wednesday.

After a lengthy time out, Silva (33-7, 1 NC) returned to action just last month, dropping a controversial decision to middleweight stalwart Michael Bisping. Hall (12-6), meanwhile, recently lost a decision of his own when Robert Whittaker outpointed him at UFC 193.

So, you taking "The Spider" ... or "Prime Time?"

UFC 198 will be headlined by the heavyweight title fight pitting reigning champion Fabricio Werdum opposite top division contender Stipe Miocic. In the UFC 198 co-main event, Ronaldo Souza tries to work his way back to a middleweight title shot at the expense of Vitor Belfort.
