Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) continues to thin the herd, as the world's leading mixed martial arts (MMA) organization recently released three more fighters from their fight contracts.
According to Sherdog, Scott Jorgensen, George Roop, and Yui Chul Nam are no longer listed on the promotion's active roster. And judging by a recent Tweet sent out by Jorgensen, he isn't too bothered by the fact the he was set free.

Why so smiley?
Well, with free agency being all the rage these days, "Young Guns" can now look elsewhere to further add to his career and potentially, his bank account.
After UFC imports Josh Thomson and more recently, Ben Henderson, announced their decision to sign "fighter-friendly" contracts with Bellator MMA, it seems Jorgensen is banking on doing the same. Of course, there are other options, as Scott -- who has lost three in a row and six of seven -- could end up with World Series of Fighting (WSOF), or even ONE Championship.
Regardless of where he goes, it seems the days of getting cut by UFC are no longer rainy ones, as most fighters are fully embracing the opportunity to explore their options as free agents.
Which may -- or may not -- have something to do with this.
