'Tickets?!?!' Jon Jones channels Allen Iverson in Instagram video message to UFC fans

"I’ve gotten my sobriety back, almost five months now. I’m living happier and healthier. I got rid of a lot of people who didn’t belong in my life. I’ve completed over 65 appearances [tied to the local] youth and community. I’m about to win a world title in a few weeks. And they’re talking about tickets!"

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, has been through quite a bit throughout his tenure with the world's leading mixed martial arts (MMA) league.

In fact, that might be a ridiculous understatement.

But, his latest "brush with the law," which will result in three days community service because he didn't report a traffic stop to his probation officer, is not among them. Not even close.

That's because Jones is, at least according to him, now on the straight narrow. Focused like never before and, clearly, the strongest he has ever been. No, seriously.

Jones will look to remain in the gym and out of the courthouse as much as possible ahead of his showdown with Daniel Cormier, which is set to headline UFC 197 on April 23, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He won't let a minor "violation" derail his destiny.

Kind of like another famous, oft-troubled superstar before him, Allen Iverson:
