Mickey Gall was among the big winners of last night's (Sat., Feb. , 2016) UFC Fight Night 82 event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Not only did the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) rookie make a splash in his Octagon debut, submitting Mike Jackson in under a minute (recap), but he earned himself a future fight against former WWE superstar, CM Punk.
Now, Gall's anxiousness is through the roof, as he tells FOX Sports that he can't wait to get back inside the cage to build on his momentum and "beat up a superstar."
"I don't know, nothing cool. It's going to be fun and I am excited. I'm excited to fight a superstar, man. I get to beat up a superstar. I'm excited for that. It will probably be a little longer than this fight, but it will be a first-round finish."

Hall, if you remember, was discovered by UFC president Dana White on his "Lookin' For A Fight" reality show, which also discovered 19-year old wunderkind, Sage Northcutt.
As for Punk, his fight against Gall will be his first-ever mixed martial arts (MMA) fight -- amateur or pro -- since announcing his intentions to compete well over a year ago. But after seeing what Gall is capable of, is Punk in over his head?
