UFC Fight Night 82 results: Real-time play-by-play updates for 'Hendricks vs Thompson' FOX Sports 1 undercard

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) rolls into Las Vegas, Nevada for a UFC Fight Night 82 event, emanating from inside MGM Grand tonight (Sat., Feb. 6, 2016) and it features a match-up of Welterweight studs Johny Hendricks and Stephen Thompson in the evening's main course.

"Bigg Rigg" and "Wonderboy" are two of the 170-pound division's heaviest hitters and they are eager to move up the ladder and secure a shot at champion Robbie Lawler. In the co-main event, Heavyweight brutes Roy Nelson and Jared Rosholt will slug it out for up to 15 minutes.

Elsewhere on the main card in "Sin City" are exciting bouts between Top-15 Light Heavyweight contenders Ovince Saint Preux and Rafael Cavalcante, as well as a Flyweight frenzy between Joseph Benavidez and Zach Makovsky.

However, before we can get to the main card, which will be broadcast on FOX Sports 1 (FS1) at 10 p.m. ET, Maniacs everywhere will be treated to a set of six "Prelims" exchanges, beginning on the Fight Pass digital streaming service at 7:00 p.m. ET, and then transferring to FS1 at 8:00 p.m. ET for the final four.

Below are the results recaps for the final four "Prelims" tilts:

Josh Burkman vs. K.J. Noons

"The People's Warrior" started anew in the 155-pound division, but would he be victorios over "King?"

Leg kicks for Burkman to start. He's switching stances. Beautiful body kick by the Utah-based fighter. Noons is eating a lot of these kicks. Funny, with him being a striking specialist. Noons has yet to throw a meaningful strike more than halfway through round one. Spinning body kick finds the mark for Burkman, who tries to open up and chase Noons. Big swings and misses for Burkman. The 35-year-old connects to the body. Noons gets riled up and uncorks a few bombs, landing a right. Very good round for Burkman. 10-9 Burkman

Cut on the inside of Noons hand, we find out from announcer Jon Anik. Burkman shoots on a single leg, but Noons has double underhooks with 4:00 to go. He takes him down briefly, but we're back up to the feet. Noons switching between stances, but is still not firing off. A left lands for Burkman. Right hook finds the mark for Noons, who trades in the pocket with Burkman. Spinning body kick by Noons is answered with a spinning back fist for Burkman. The 33-year-old Noons opens up a bit more in round two, but it's still Burkman's fight to lose. 20-18 Burkman

Burkman goes right for the single leg. The former standout football player is trying to ground the ex-Strikeforce title challenger. Noons lands a left hand. He's now looking to unleash a bit more. Nice knee in the clinch from Burkman. Noons scores with a knee to the body now. Noons bringing the aggression, peppering the body and head. Burkman deep on a double leg, abandons it for the single. Big body kick for Burkman. He needs more of those. Burkman ducks a punch and goes with the level change. Noons defending nicely. Some elbows coming via Noons. Burkman notches the slam with under 60 seconds left. He rides out the round in half guard. 30-27 Burkman

Burkman stops the bleeding of a two-fight losing streak and moves his overall record to 28-12-(1), while Noons falls to 13-9-(1).

Result: Burkman via unanimous decision (30-27 x3)

Derrick Lewis vs. Damian Grabowski

Heavyweight knockout artist Derrick Lewis was searching for consecutive wins for the first time since 2014 when he battled the fearsome Pole Grabowski.

Lewis takedown after a brief assault. He then gets back to his feet and brings the fight to the ground. Grabowski ties him up briefly before he postures up. A big shot cuts Grabowski open. Side control for Lewis, who looks for the submission. Blood pouring out of the top of the head of "The Polish Pitbull." More heavy strikes from Lewis go unanswered before referee Mark Smith calls their meeting.

Lewis improves his overall record to 14-4, while Grabowski loses his promotional debut. His record drops to 20-3.

Results: Lewis via first-round TKO

Ray Borg vs. Justin Scoggins

Talented flyweight studs looking to move up the 125-pound ladder faced off as the No. 12-ranked Borg met Scoggins.

Scoggins pawing with the jab to begin. Good straight left. Borg gets a takedown, but Scoggins up to his feet in a hurry. Scoggins looks for the trip briefly. He turns "The Tazmexican Devil" around in the clinch. Borg winning the cool tattoos battle so far. The pair move away from the cage. Back to the fence, with all control being done by the South Carolina native Scoggins. "Tank" looking good with his takedown defense. More clinch work. Very nice front kick halfway through the round. Scoggins opening up with high kicks, but they're blocked. Body shot by Scoggins. Excellent sprawl. Borg is a little bloodied. More front kicks to the body, following by a body punch. Borg unsucsessful in tagging the highly agile Scoggins. 10-9 Scoggins

Spinning back kick by Scoggins to start round two. Borg pulls guard. Scoggins in side control. The 23-year-old moves into half guard. Back to the feet with 4:00 left. Good head movement by Scoggins. Nice straight left. Takedown now by Scoggins. He looks phenomenal. Borg nearly lands a slick reversal using the fence, but Scoggins sees it. Scoggins lands huge body shot on a pinned Borg. He uncorks some more kicks. Big kick to the head. Missed spinning back fist by Scoggins has Borg pressing him against the fence. Scoggins back with the momentum controlling the clinch as round two ends. 20-18 Scoggins

Borg immediately shoots for the leg of Scoggins. Borg in a scramble gets top position. A bit of butterfly guard from Scoggins holds up Borg. He stands up momentarily, but Scoggins then slams the Albuquerque-based fighter down. Short punches raining down. Full guard with three minutes left. Borg slides to the fence trying to wall walk. Half guard now for Scoggins. Borg gets up looking for a slugfest, but Scoggins drops him back down to the mat. Ultimately, it will be the quickness and instinct that was Borg's downfall in this outing. Scoggins beat him to the punch and used his size and reach advantage to control Borg. Some good control by Scoggins as he rides out the round on top. 30-26 Scoggins

Scoggins wins his second straight bout and improves to 11-2, while Borg falls in an upset. He's now 9-2.

Result: Scoggins via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-26)

Noad Lahat vs. Diego Rivas

Upstart featherweight prospects kicked off the action on FS1 when American Kickboxing Academy's Lahat took on "Pitbull."

Big swing and a miss from Rivas. Early eye poke causes a break in the action. Nice low kick from the Israeli. Trip takedown from Lahat, who lands in half guard. Now he's in full mount and cinches up the guillotine choke. Lahat cranking. We're nearly two minutes in. Good scramble from Rivas and the Chilean gets back to half guard. Now full guard. "Neo" takes his back. Lahat staying heavy on his back. The 31-year-old tries for the arm-triangle choke, but Rivas defends. Back to full mount. With a minute left, Lahat is on his back. Rivas stands up, but Lahat is still on him. The 24-year-old picks him up, slams him, but ends up on his back once more. Very dominant first round by Lahat. 10-9 Lahat

Rivas opens round two with a body kick. Huge flying knee out of nowhere drops Lahat clean. And that's all she wrote.

Rivas runs his undefeated record up to 7-0, while Lahat drops to 9-2.

Result: Rivas via second-round knockout
