Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently tied a ribbon around its UFC Fight Night 82 weigh in event for "Hendricks vs. Thompson," which took place earlier today (Fri., Feb. 5, 2016) inside MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, host venue for tomorrow night's mixed martial arts (MMA) extravaganza on FOX Sports 1.

Headlining this weekend's cobbled-together combat sports event in the bright lights of "Sin City" is the welterweight contender fight pitting ex-division kingpin Johny "Bigg Rigg" Hendricks opposite kickboxing phenom Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson.

In the UFC Fight Night 82 co-main event, long-time heavyweight hurter Roy "Big Country" Nelson will test his takedown defense against collegiate wrestling standout Jared "Big Show" Rosholt, who puts his three-fight win streak on the line against the portly power-puncher.
