After the bout, Mousasi took the opportunity to lay out his future plans, which includes potential fights against Vitor Belfort, Michael Bisping and a rematch against Lyoto Machida. Of course, he prefers if the do-over against "The Dragon" happens when the Brazilian isn't on steroids or greased up.
"I would like to fight Michael Bisping, Vitor Belfort... Machida, when he's not on steroids and he's not greased up. No, because it's true. The guy was fucking greased up, and he looked like a 15-year-old boy when I fought him. Obviously he was in Brazil. He was so fucking slippery. People now are surely going to say that I'm a bad loser, but the guy didn't look normal for a fucking 38-year-old, and greased up all the way! He was greased up. Once he sweat, it was greasy. Even Luke Rockhold said that he was greased up when they fought. He's a cheater. What can I say? ...Fuck him!"
Wow! The outburst is surprising coming from Gegard, who has always been known as a soft-spoken and calm individual. In fact, even Michael Bisping applauded the fact the Mousasi's personality was shining through during the post-fight presser (video replay here).
Machida and Gegard originally collided in 2014, with "The Dragon" walking away from his home country of Brazil with a unanimous decision win. A win that may now be a bit clouded on the heels of Gegard's allegations.
