I know most mixed martial arts (MMA) fans are mourning the death of the UFC 196 main event, but at least we have one decent headliner still intact as we head into UFC Fight Night 84 this Saturday (Feb. 27, 2016) in London, England.
That's where former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva makes his return to combat sports opposite hometown hero and perennial 185-pound contender Michael Bisping, which means the promotion is hard at work cranking out "Embedded" pre-fight video blogs, like the one featured above.
From the official YouTube description:
On Episode 1 of UFC Fight Night London Embedded, headlining middleweight Michael Bisping prepares for his upcoming homecoming with an almost-English breakfast. But before he departs LA for the motherland, he gets in some more training and discovers that his son has inherited his antagonistic streak. Dutch middleweight contender Gegard Mousasi trains the next generation and relaxes with a drive in his sports car. In Brazil, Mousasi’s opponent Thales Leites starts his weight cut with a mom-cooked meal, while his daughter negotiates her terms for appearing on camera. UFC Fight Night London Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog following the stars of UFC Fight Night: Silva vs. Bisping, streaming live Saturday, February 27 on UFC Fight Pass.
If your eyes don't get watery for Leites and his sassy lil' pipsqueak, then you either don't have kids, or don't have a soul.
