WOW! One minute into the 1st round was all @HolyWarAngelMMA needed to KO Daniel Sarafian! #UFCPittsburgh https://t.co/Ddm2kfOgHj— FOX Sports: UFC (@UFCONFOX) February 22, 2016
In a surefire candidate for a "Performance of the Night" bonus, Oluwale Bamgbose knocked out Daniel Sarafian with a blistering head kick and follow-up punches in their middleweight tilt on the FOX Sports 1 "Prelims" portion of the UFC Fight Night 83 card tonight (Sun., Feb. 21, 2016).
It all went down inside CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, PA., and it happened very fast. From the get-go, the New Yorker toyed with his Brazilian counterpart, showcasing excellent movement and a wide variety of angles.
Then, approaching the four minute mark of round one, Bamgbose uncorked a left high kick to the head that sent Sarafian careening into the canvas behind him.
Bamgbose piled on a couple of more strikes, which forced the referee to call a stop to the contest. He nabs his first Octagon win, while Sarafian continues to struggle as he's only amounted a 2-4 UFC record and is now likely candidate to get cut.
