UFC Fight Night 83 is ready to go down this weekend (Sun., Feb. 21, 2016) inside the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Penn., with the winner presumably taking home exclusive nickname rights (or not).
The event will be headlined by two cowpokes, as Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone moves up to welterweight following his lightning quick loss to Rafael dos Anjos at UFC on FOX 17 for the lightweight strap. He'll be taking on scrappy Brazilian Alex "Cowboy" Oliveira, who is currently riding a three fight winning streak.
But wait. There's more.
In the co-main event of the evening, Derek Brunson puts his own three fight winning streak on the line against Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu wizard Roan Carneiro, who hasn't tasted defeat since 2011.
Before "Cowboy", "Cowboy", and the rest of the participants take care of business inside the Octagon, the men were on hand yesterday in the "Steel City" to promote the FOX Sports 1 card by showing off their best moves during the open workouts (see above).
Watching the moves were members of the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers, who offered their thoughts on who might win Sunday's showdown.
