Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is roughly two weeks away from the Anderson Silva vs. Michael Bisping headliner for its upcoming UFC Fight Night 84 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, scheduled for Sat., Feb. 27, 2016 inside O2 Arena in London, England.
"The Count," who's always up for a little trash talk, has wasted no time pulling the verbal punches ahead of his pivotal main event meeting with the all-time MMA great Silva. Bisping hasn't let up when trashing "The Spider" for his use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) prior to the latter's victory (later changed to a "No Contest") over Nick Diaz at UFC 183 in Jan. 2015.
More on that mess here.
As for Silva, the fight will mark his 20th Octagon jaunt in an otherwise prolific professional career. The Brazilian's body hasn't exactly held up over the last couple of years, as he lost his 185-pound title and went through a 0-2-(1) spell inside the cage, but he looks to be as dangerous as ever judging from multiple highlight packages.
