Ronda Rousey's return to the Octagon last night (Fri., Dec. 30, 2016) at UFC 207 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, was easily the most anticipated comeback in mixed martial arts (MMA) history. The transcendent combat star hadn't fought since losing her title to Holly Holm via knockout at UFC 193 over one year ago. Well, Rousey's return to the cage at UFC 207 last only 48 seconds as champion Amanda Nunes blasted her with combinations from hell the second the two women stepped towards one another. As always, the MMA community provided quick reaction and response via social media, having the following to say on Twitter:
No Ronda! You can NOT stand with her! Horrible game plan! HUGE CONGRATS to @Amanda_Leoa IN-FUCKING-CREDIABLE #UFC207 #andSTILL

This should teach the UFC to quit hyping up these Mfers that don't put in the heart and work. Sage, Paige, Ronda. Promote some real mfers.

Weird ... called that one. She should have never been fed to the lioness in the first place.

Fauckkk.... Didn't think it would be that one-sided. Was really hoping it was a lil more competitive. #AndStill #UFC207
