While most of the mixed martial arts (MMA) world's attention was focused on the unsuccessful return of Ronda Rousey last night (Fri., Dec. 30, 2016) at UFC 207, in which she lost to Amanda Nunes in just 48 seconds, a combat legend turned back the clock to capture another impressive feat. MMA great Mirko Cro Cop finished both of his opponents to win the RIZIN Open Weight Grand-Prix tournament from Saitama, Japan, last night in what can only be considered a destructive killing spree.
Here is Cro Cop's one-punch knockout over Amir Aliakbari to win the tournament:

Before finishing Aliakbari, Cro Cop stopped Baruto Kaito via TKO (knee to the body) in the semi-final round and Muhammed Lawal via knockout in the quarter-final round earlier this week. In the span of three days, the Croatian finisher put his name back on the map and closed out 2016 in devastating fashion.
