Despite media blackout, Ronda Rousey will face cameras at (both) UFC 207 weigh ins

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is not talking to the media ahead of her mixed martial arts (MMA) return this Friday night (Dec. 30, 2016), which takes place in the UFC 207 pay-per-view (PPV) main event inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

But one place she won’t be able to escape the combat sports reporters — or the cameras that come with them — is the UFC 207 weigh in event, going down tomorrow in “Sin City” and also featuring current women’s 135-pound titleholder Amanda Nunes. That takes care of the “Rowdy” rumors suggesting otherwise.

The last time Rousey attended a live face off in front of the fans and media, the “production guys” screwed up and caused the Olympian to storm off the stage in a huff (more on that here). It will be interesting to see if weigh-in emcee Joe Rogan does, in fact, get a few minutes to chat with the ex-champ.
