Shhhhh ... watch quietly, the slightest sound may spook the recondite and oft-hidden mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter known as Ronda Rousey. While rumors circulated suggesting the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion was indeed in “Sin City,” the long-dormant judoka had yet to be spotted.
Until now.
Officials were forced to create a makeshift isolation tank for the rare and delicate flower, far away from the prying eyes of “horrible” combat sports fans. Of course, the biggest concern was those heartless thugs in the MMA media, ready and willing to attack at a moment’s notice.
Rousey will be forced to emerge one last time to battle reigning 135-pound titleholder Amanda Nunes in the UFC 207 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, which takes place this Friday night (Dec. 30, 2016) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
And if she sees her own pillow, we may be facing another six weeks of media blackout.
