Travis Browne: Derrick Lewis made this personal, I’ll show him what this s—t is all about at UFC 208

MMA: UFC Fight Night-Browne vs Mitrione Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

Streaking Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight slugger Derrick Lewis will collide with grizzled 265-pound veteran Travis Browne at the upcoming UFC 208 pay-per-vew (PPV) event, scheduled for Feb. 11, 2017 inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Mostly because “Black Beast” kept asking for the fight.

That didn’t sit too well with “Hapa,” who believes Lewis may be looking for the path of least resistance. While Browne certainly is a “name” in the heavyweight division, he’s also coming off back-to-back losses.

"He's looking up and down the top 10 for the easiest fight and choosing my name," Browne told ESPN. "I don't know how much more personal it gets than that. I'm not usually one to talk trash, and I do respect him as a fighter, but you want to test yourself, buddy? I'm your man. I'll show you what this shit is all about up here."

Lewis is ranked No. 9, just one spot ahead of No. 10-ranked Browne.

Who ya’ got?

UFC 208 will feature the women’s inaugural featherweight championship showdown pitting Holly Holm against Germaine de Randamie. Elsewhere on the card, Glover Teixeira and Jared Cannonier hook ‘em up for light heavyweight bragging rights.
