UFC on FOX 22 results, recap and link wrap up: Michelle Waterson stuns Paige VanZant, Urijah Faber goes out on top

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

UFC on FOX 22 went down Saturday night (Dec. 17, 2016), blowing the roof off a packed Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, Calif., after a great night of fights, including a main event that saw Michelle Waterson stun Paige VanZant via rear-naked choke in the very first round.

Also, Mickey Gall proved he’s the legit up-and-comer, upstaging Sage Northcutt with a "Super" submission in round two of their co-main event scrap. Of course, Urijah Faber put a bow on his storied career by outclassing Brad Pickett in what was the final fight of his career ... and in front of his hometown crowd, no less. Heck, the moment was so great even Dominick Cruz decided it was time to squash his longtime beef with "California Kid."
