It all goes down later this evening (Sat., Dec. 10, 2016) at UFC 206 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, as Max Holloway aims to extend his current win streak to 10 when he takes on former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight king Anthony Pettis for interim featherweight title rights. Also gracing the main card are noteworthy Octagon combatants Donald Cerrone, Matt Brown, Cub Swanson, Tim Kennedy, Kelvin Gastelum and Doo Ho Choi.
But, before the premier bouts get underway on PPV starting at 10 p.m. ET, a portion of UFC 206's "Prelims" undercard action will go down exclusively on Fight Pass starting at 6:30 p.m. ET. Find out what happened right here as the UFC 206 Fight Pass undercard recaps roll in real-time:
John Makdessi vs. Lando Vannata
Despite losing his Octagon debut opposite Tony Ferguson earlier this year, Vannata (9-1) carried a lot of momentum into the cage tonight when he took on Makdessi (14-6) in the Fight Pass headliner. It took little time for Vannata to find his groove, shake off a few good jabs from Makdessi and land a monstrous spinning wheel kick that sent the Canadian slumping to the canvas. Vannata didn't even move in for insurance shots before earning the memorable first-round knockout finish.
Jason Saggo vs. Rustam Khabilov
Lightweight finisher Saggo (12-3) looked to improve his 2016 record to 3-0 when he met a streaking Khabilov (21-3) in a 158-pound catchweight bout. While Saggo tried his best to open up on the feet by launching head kicks and switching up his stance, Khabilov ruled the way with timely takedowns, heavy top control and late-round explosions on the feet. It wasn't the performance from Saggo that Canadian fight fans had hoped for, but there wasn't much he could do whenever the Russian grappler got his hands on him. As a result, Khabilov turned nearly six minutes of top control into a one-sided unanimous decision win.

Zach Makovsky vs. Dustin Ortiz
In the only flyweight bout of the evening and the first Octagon action of UFC 206, perennial contenders Makovsky (19-8) and Ortiz (16-6) were both looking to end two-fight losing streaks as 2016 comes to a close. While Makovsky offered some sound takedowns and submission attempts over the course of three rounds, it was Ortiz who stayed much more busier. Ortiz was able to land hard knees in the clinch, elbows on the ground and reverse position when Makovsky was able to gain the upper hand. In the end, Ortiz was able to vastly outstrike and outmaneuver "Fun Size" to earn the split-decision win. He looked great and remains a potential title contender in 2017, assuming he can continue to evolve his decision making.
