Surging Heavyweight prospect Francis Ngannou continued his winning ways last night (Fri., Dec. 9, 2016) at UFC Fight Night 102 live on Fight Pass from inside Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y., stopping Anthony Hamilton in his tracks with a vicious first-round submission finish (kimura). It was Ngannou’s first submission stoppage during his impressive UFC tenure and one that sheds light on his growing potential.
After a solid shot inside by Hamilton to begin the first round, Ngannou grabbed a hold of Hamilton’s arm, defended the takedown, thew Hamilton to the ground, put his knee on Hamilton’s chest and cranked his arm until the earning the tap. Even Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) color commentator Brian Stann was shocked at the power of “Predator.”

With this win, Ngannou moves into position to challenge anyone and everyone in the division’s Top 10. This marks his fourth-straight finish to begin his UFC career and he’s starting to showcase an all-around game that can manifest into the stuff of a top contender.
