Bellator 163: "McGeary vs. Davis" goes down at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., tomorrow night (Nov. 4, 2016), featuring a Spike TV-televised main event between Light Heavyweight champion Liam McGeary -- who returns after a one year absence -- to face "Mr. Wonderful" Phil Davis.
The card was also expected to have a wonderful Featherweight bout between long-time mixed martial arts (MMA) veteran Marloes Coenen and 2011 World Jiu-Jitsu champion Talita Nogueira, the latter an undefeated (6-0) prospect making her Bellator MMA debut.
But, that's now hot happening because Nogueira was off by 5.6 pounds at a morning weigh-in. It's the second consecutive time Coenen's opponent has failed to make weight. Last time, Coenen took the fight anyway and it didn't work out in her favor. This time, Bellator didn't even give her that opportunity. Coenen made the weight and will still receive her show money for the fight.

At least she doesn't seem too bitter about the situation.
