Pill pal peddling purchased penis potion popped for Clomiphene in Jon Jones USADA arbitration

With friends like these...

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who once again coughed up his division title, will spend the rest of the year — and half of 2017 — on the bench after United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) suspended him for one year.

Men always getting into trouble because of their penis!

Turns out “Bones” was trying to boost his performance under the sheets and relied on one of his teammates — because pharmaceutical prescriptions are so cliche these days — and ended up with a penis potion that packed a little more punch than intended.

Or was it intended? Bloody Elbow deconstructs the USADA investigation:

Blasich also said in his declaration that the tainted pill he provided to Jones was from an order on May 25th, 2016, and provided an invoice from this date. He then accepted this couldn’t be the source of the pills he provided to Jones, since the pills were delivered to New York, but Blasich had already left New York for Albuquerque by that point.

Perhaps most damning of all, is that when Blasich finally provided the correct invoice for the order of "tadalafil", it also contained an order for clomiphene - a substance banned by WADA and available only with a prescription in the United States.

Jones, who denies cheating, flunked his UFC 200 pre-fight drug test for Clomiphene.

This latest setback further tarnishes one of the greatest runs inside the Octagon. Not just in the 205-pound division, but in all of mixed martial arts (MMA). Regrettably, Jones can’t seem to get out of his own way and just when you thought he got out...

... they pull him back in.
