The dust has barely settled on UFC 204, which means it's time to honor those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights last night (Fri., Oct. 8, 2016) live from inside Manchester Arena in Manchester, England (full results here). Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 22 fighters on the pay-per-view (PPV) card. Among the men going home with an extra $50,000 in their pockets are, unsurprisingly, Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson, who ran back their 2007 rematch in a surprisingly entertaining back-and-forth battle (watch video highlights here). In the end, Bisping was able to escape with a unanimous decision win, but not before getting dropped twice by the "H-Bomb" that sent him snoring in their first encounter (read the recap here).
Jimi Manuwa earned a "Performance of the Night" award for his destruction of Ovince Saint Preux, while Iuri Alcantara picked up the other for his submission of hometown favorite, Brad Picket, on the FOX Sports 1 "Prelims" main event (watch video highlights).
Here are the special UFC 204 bonuses:
Fight of the Night -- Michael Bisping vs. Dan Henderson
Performance of the Night -- Jimi Manuwa
Performance of the Night -- Iuri Alcantara
Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which the mixdd martial arts (MMA) promotion more than likely will not disclose because it's an international event.
