Top 10-ranked Middleweight contender, Gegard Mousasi (40-6-2), defeated Vitor Belfort (25-13) via second round technical knockout last night (Sat., Oct. 8, 2016) in the pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event of UFC 204, which took place inside Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. Mousasi won the pivotal bout via technical knockout after clipping Belfort with a high kick, which he followed up with a vicious flurry before finishing him off on the ground. Mousasi improves to 7-3 in UFC with the victory and has now won three in a row. Belfort falls to 14-9 in defeat and has now dropped two in a row in the crowded 185-pound division.
