Barring any last-minute hijinks, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz is expected to defend his title against undefeated power puncher Cody Garbrandt at the upcoming UFC 207 pay-per-view (PPV) event in December.
Probably because of this effective sales pitch.
Not surprisingly, that announcement left fellow contenders like Bryan Caraway “frustrated,” as “No Love” sits behind “Kid Lightning” in the official UFC rankings (see the top 15 here).
I am so frustrated.@johnlineker I know U'll sign the contract so lets do this thing!I have my pen ready 2 go.UR a legend so lets sign! #Sign

“I’m frustrated because we're both down to fight and I need a fight,” Caraway told MMAmania.com. “He needs a fight, we're both top ranked bantamweights, let's do it for a title shot.”
Or perhaps a crack at this $100k jackpot?
Caraway (21-7) cut his teeth on season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) and is now 6-2 under the UFC banner. The underrated submission specialist was last seen capturing a gritty, hard-fought decision win over division wunderkind Aljamain Sterling back in May.
Lineker, a perfect 2-0 since abandoning his post at flyweight, has yet to respond.
