Another one bites the dust.
UFC senior vice president of public relations and athlete marketing and development Dave Sholler will be parting ways with the world’s preeminent mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion, shacking up with the cagers in the "City of Brotherly Love."
Straight from the horse’s mouth:
As Dana just announced on @FS1, I'm heading home. I've accepted a job w/ my hometown team, the @Sixers. This has been the ride of a lifetime
— Dave Sholler (@DaveSholler) October 13, 2016
It's time to go home, to the organization I grew up rooting for. Will miss fight game very, very much, but excited for the new challenge.

It should be noted the Sixers finished 10-72 last season.
Sholler is not the first executive to jump ship in the wake of the promotion's $4 billion dollar sale to WME | IMG. Just last month, longtime UFC matchmaker Joe Silva went on his merry way, making room for Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard.
I can think of a few other guys (like this one) who may want to follow suit.
