Former PRIDE FC Heavyweight Champion, Fedor Emelianenko, was appalled at the recent kids vs. kids fights (video) put forth by Akhmat Fight Club: "Grand Prix Akhmat 2016 Finals" last week from inside Sport Hall Coliseum in Grozny, Russia.
So he took to his Instagram account to complain about it.
That didn’t sit well with supporters of child violence, who figured the best way to silence “The Last Emperor” was to go after his family. Sure, it’s cowardly, but I would imagine they had trouble recruiting volunteers to ambush the combat sambo world champion.
As a result, Emelianenko’s 16-year-old daughter was hospitalized at Research Institute of Children's Emergency Surgery and Traumatology with "contusion of the chest and abdomen,” according to a report from MKRU (via Bloody Elbow).
The Emelianenko camp has yet to comment on the incident but it should be noted his criticism of Akhmat Fight Club has since been deleted from social media.
