Think Conor McGregor is rich?
He is, but even the millions banked by "Mystic Mac" pale in comparison to the revenue generated by Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White (and his 30 Ferraris).
In addition to his stake in the world's largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion -- recently sold for upwards of $4 billion -- White also inked a contract extension with new owners WME | IMG (see it here).
While some fighters are still making just $10,000 to show.
"It's easy to get a ton of money off these UFC guys while they're not really getting paid," boxing's Floyd Mayweather Jr. told Fight Hype. "And he's living better than the UFC guys. They say ‘Oh, Floyd is living better than all his fighters,' well guess what, I was a fighter myself. So I'll put in the work on both sides."
Hey, you eat what you kill.
White and Mayweather have been going back-and-forth in the media over a potential boxing vs. MMA super fight pitting "Money" against McGregor. The UFC brass want the bout to be contested under Octagon rules (because of this) while Mayweather and Co. insist it takes place inside the squared circle.
In other words, this fight will never happen.
