I have a "friend" on Facebook who spams his timeline with cryptic quotes until someone takes one for the team and asks, "Hey man, you okay? What's wrong?"

Not to suggest that's happening with Ronda Rousey, who posted this brief quote from William Shakespeare on her official Instagram page, but it's fun to speculate and I invite you to join me. After all, it's Monday and we have no UFC fights to look forward to this weekend.

"I was adored once too."

The quote originates from Sir Andrew Aguecheek in the third scene of the second act of Shakespeare's play Twelfth Night, or What You Will.

Why so serious?

Rousey was knocked out by Holly Holm at UFC 193 last November (watch it) and according to her sister, died a little inside -- aside from having her soul crushed. The easiest way to fix that, in my uneducated opinion, is to come back and crush a can.

Why not? It works for her idol!
